Enabling the possibility of buying a membership using the Member area

Go to the Club settings -> Configuration -> Member area -> Registration tab and choose the Membership and member data option from the Registration type dropdown menu:

Additionally, define which memberships are available to be bought in the Member area. We highly recommend the tutorials

Also, create member consents, which will be visible to the Members during the buying process. This tutorial may prove useful.

In order for the memberships to be available to be purchased, it is necessary to enable either one-time online payments or recurring payments.

Buying a membership in the Member area

1.A Member goes to the Buy a membership tab:

2. Chooses the starting date and the membership itself:

3. Then, they go to the summary and the fill in the registration form:

You can choose what data are required during the registration process in the Club settings -> Configuration -> Member area -> Registration tab:

At the bottom of the page, you can also see the consents:

The consents highlighted with a star are required to be checked. Usually, T&C consents are highlighted with stars.

4. After going further, we will be presented with a sale’s confirmation:

Such confirmation can be enabled in the Club settings -> Configuration -> Member area -> Registration tab by checking the Sale’s confirmation slider to Yes:

5. Once the Buy and pay button is clicked, the system takes you the payment method selection:

Important! A Member’s profile is created once the Buy and pay is clicked, regardless of whether or not the payment was made. Additionally, an automated message containing the password to the Member area will be sent.

6. After the payment is made, the Member will be taken to the Agreements tab, where they will be able to see a payment confirmation alongside the purchased membership:
